The Cosmetic Association

Our History

The Cosmetic Association was founded in 1988 by the late Bernard Markey who saw a need for distributors in the beauty industry to host their own Trade Event for the Pharmacy sector.  This trade event know at the time as "Showrooms" was held in The Burlington Hotel for almost 20 years until the membership grew so large in numbers that we had to move to RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin, where are a currently exhibiting.  The event is held in the month of May every year, and the current year's dates and time are on the home page. 

The Membership of The Cosmetic Association has also grown in business type.  Our Trade Fair now offers everything for the Pharmacy, Beauty Salon / Department Stores, Garden & Gift, and Personal Boutique sectors and Buyers can choose from Perfume to Paper, Photography to Jewellery, Cosmetics to Personal Hygiene and Baby Gifts to Scanning equipment.  The selection of products is a wide as you wish.

This Trade Fair is the largest event under one roof for the sectors mentioned above and it is the major buying faciltiy for all your needs.

The Cosmetic Association is affiliated to Small Firms Association / IBEC.
